When writing a resume, there is a tendency to want to cram every bit of information about yourself onto that one or two pages. If you are just out of school it may in fact be a struggle just to fill out a page with something relevant. But, for the majority of us, the real challenge is in selecting just the right information to include…and saving the rest for another time.
How do you decide what to include? You make that selection based on what position you are applying for as well as the requirements for the position. Remember, with on-line distribution of resumes, there is no shortage of competitors. Instead of becoming one among the multitude, make your resume stand out. Tune it to match as closely as you legitimately can, the qualifications the potential employer is searching for.
